Though they are essentially death matches with goals beyond simply eliminating the opposition, they do bring some entertainment to the Worms single-player experience.

I believe that playing Worms alone is 99% less enjoyable than playing with others, so I consider it to be a last option if you can’t find someone to play multiplayer with. The ability to customize this game is one of its best aspects. You have complete control over making your own levels, sound effects, weaponry, etc. Because of how customizable this game is, you can experiment with the settings until you figure out what suits you the best. Although I haven’t had much opportunity to utilize them due to my hectic schedule, I’m sure there is a lot of content; the editors are rather simple to use. It greatly increases replay value.

Here, the Armageddon Gog download scores the highest. It’s the most enjoyable multiplayer game I’ve ever played. I don’t mean the gratification that comes from blabbering; rather, what I mean by fun is exuberant, party-style fun. Of course, unless you’re incredibly excited and loud while you’re alone, you can only yell and scream when you’re playing with friends. The game’s cartoon violence and incredibly great shots, strategies, explosions, etc. make for an enjoyable experience. Any game that you and your pals can play for three hours straight is obviously worthy of the term “fun.”

Essentially, this is a multiplayer game. Supported options include LAN, TCP/IP, and simultaneous use on a single computer—the most enjoyable option. It’s not necessary to eliminate modem play from most games, and I’m sure it’s not that hard to do. I wish it was still there. Of course, I’m joking. It is necessary to play online games via Worm Net, Bungie.net, Battle.net, and all those other game networks. Although I haven’t had a chance to try the game online, it seems to be lag-free and fluid, based on worms. Armageddon downloads Penal Serja Ply Zap Dermo, which is rather comparable to this game. When you play this game against other players, it shines.

Overall impression:

I enjoy Worms 2, but I also really enjoyed Worms 2, so there’s not much of a difference between the two games other than some new weaponry, single-player objectives, and sound effects.
