To be fair, there were already some eerie themes in several of the Tomb Raider games. The job involves fighting horrifying experiments and zombie creatures, but Lara’s survival is never in doubt. Despite her apparent disbelief at what she sees, she seldom displays fear since she adjusts quickly.
